Three Leadership Christian Academy alumni spoke at a special event on October 3, hosted by The Highmark Caring Place. Student leaders joined faculty and staff from several schools in our region for the Highmark Caring Place Grieving Students Summit. The recent LCA graduates presented their experiences of going through the grief program and what they've learned.
The goal of this event was to bring the faculty and students together to learn how they can properly help others through the grieving process. The hope is that each school integrates this support for its students.
